The Acer Nitro 5 Spin Laptop has a All metal build with Brushed aluminium Finish to the Lid which gives this laptop a premium look . It weighs in at 2.2 KGs , which is a bit on heavier side given the slim profile of the laptop but , its worth it as the laptop is made up Good quality Metal build
IO Ports
In the Connectivity Department we have 2 USB 3.0 Ports , HDMI Port , USB Type C port , A USB 2.0 Port , Kegniston Lock , SD card slot , 3.5MM Hedphone jack and Volume Rockers
Keyboard & Trackpad
The Keyboard is backlit and has a super cool Red colour LED embedded to it . Its spacious and with seprate number pad and is easy to type on and gave a good feedback . Same Goes with the Trackpad , its big and made pretty well , it also houses a Finger print Scanner which was fast and accurate for the most times
Display
We have a 1080P IPS Touchscreen Panel on the Acer Nitro 5 Spin Laptop , and as expected it was good , the blacks were deep and colour pop out to be pretty well , The Brightness is also Apt , hve i am totally satisfied with the display , But the only Con i have is the Screen is a fingerprint magnet , You would need frequent cleaning to make it look Good
This Screen is also 360 Degree Convertible hence it can also be used a Tablet and in no time you have a Full fleged Touchscreen Windows Tablet .The Touch is Smooth and works well.
Specifications
The Version we are reviewing has a Intel Core i7-8550U CPU which is 8th Generation CPU, 8GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU with 4GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory. there is also a 256GB SSD as well as a 1TB hard drive.
Although The base variant of the Nitro 5 Spin features a Core i5 CPU and no SSD. Other specifications include Bluetooth 4.1, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, an HD webcam, and stereo speakers with a sub-woofer.
Battery Life
One place where the Nitro 5 Spin shines is battery life. The notebook lasts 7 + Hours (continuous web surfing over Wi-Fi),and occasional video streaming
Heat
As it is a aluminium built , it heats up a bit when gaming and doing heavy tasks such as video rendering , editing,etc – But also cools down quickly .

Over all i am Happy with the Acer Nitro 5 Spin Laptop , it would be great laptop for people looking for a slim laptop which offers great performance and has a long battery life !
